According to the NTIA Texas Grant Awards PDF linked above (page 4), Houston will be migrating to a 700/800MHz P25 trunking system, incorporating 10 sites with repeaters and simulcast equipment. This will support full interoprability with Harris County Regional Radio System.
San Antonio Urban Area Security Initiative
According to the AACOG documents above, San Antonio will be implementing a P25 700MHz overlay, capable of interoperability with Texas DPS, the future 700MHz I-37 Corridor Project, the future 700MHz LCRA overlay and the Live Oak P25 800MHz trunked system.
