Waterloo Region Trunk System Fire ID Naming Conventions
Following is some information on how the Region of Waterloo sets up their Radio ID,s for all the fire departments.
This information was obtained from a combination of data obtained from Trunker, Unitrunker, and Windows Trunker.
The breakdown consists of a series of 4 number groups.
First number is from 5 to 10 and is the department of use.
Second number is the type of equipment in use.
Third number the station ID.
Forth number is the unique ID for that piece of equipment.
