The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is the lead agency in charge of the installation and procurement of the Wisconsin Interoperable System for Communications (WISCOM) P25 TRS that was installed during 2010.

While WisDOT is installing the system, WISCOM will be administered by the SSMG and leveraged as a statewide interoperability solution for use by any eligible public safety entity.
