Sheriff

The Canadian County Sheriff's Department uses OKWIN for communication. Traffic is on site 2 (Oklahoma City) and site 9 (Geary).
Before OKWIN, the Canadian County Sherif's Department used a VHF repeater 155.805 MHz KRG760. During the conversion to OKWIN, Sheriffs Department traffic was carried on both OKWIN and VHF. They also had a tacitical channel on VHF, 154.875MHz which could use voice inversion for encryption.
Before the VHF repeater, Candian County Sheriffs department used low band VHF 37.10Mhz simplex. That was back in the 60's and 70's, but the frequency remains on the FFC license to this day.

County Jail

Canadian County holds FCC license WQYM756 458.2875 MHz for the county jail.

Emergency Management

The Canadian County Emergency Management has VHF repeater 155.205 MHz in El Reno. No EM traffic has been confirmed on OKWIN, but it seems likely they would hav e presence there.

Juvenile Justice Center

The Gary E. Miller Childrens Justice Center has FCC license WQLG778 for three VHF repeaters: 155.4375 MHz (which is in the database), 154.6575 MHz and 155.09250 MHz (which have not been confirmed).

EMS Service

Ambulance Service for most of Canadian County is provided by Pafford EMS who uses VHF repeater WRDC920 153.635 MHz north of El Reno near Concho. The license, which is for several locations across Arkansas and Oklahoma indicates NEXEDGE digital transmision, but only analog has been reported.
Pafford also uses UHF DMR repeater WPNY878 462.025 MHz in northeast OKC for the eastern side of Canadian County

Red Cross

The Canadian County chapter of the American Red Cross has FCC license WPTC241 for 155.160 MHz, but traffic has been minimal for years.

El Reno

El Reno is the capital of Canadian County. El Reno Police and Fire use OKWIN for communication. Traffic is on site 2 (Oklahoma City) and site 9 (Geary).
Before switching to OKWIN in 2024, El Reno Police used VHF DMR repeater KKA944 This may still be used for backup.
Before switching to DMR in 2015, El Reno Police used a UHF repeater on 460.300 MHz. That frequency is still on the KKA944 license. KKA944 also includes 37.10 MHz, 453.5375 MHz and 458.5375 MHz.
Before switching to OKWIN in 2024, the El Reno Fire Department used VHF DMR repeater KCV365 on 154.190 MHz. KCV365 includes an aditional DMR repeater on 154.0625 MHz as well as the state fire net frequency 154.130 MHz.
Before switching to DMR, El Reno Fire used the same 154.190 MHz repeater on analog.
El Reno Public Works has UHF repeater KNHZ300 on 453.675 MHz.
