    • 1/26 FCC Modification adding the same repeater to a second location in Paris. (either duplicating or changing sites, is assumed)
  • RAS (Restricted Access to System) is enabled for both Paris PD and Edgar County Sheriff and all other DMR channels used for 911 communications. Paris PD uses encryption. Regular DMR radios cannot monitor any DMR frequencies used for public safety communications unless the proper access code is inserted which cannot be obtained by anyone unless permission given by the director of communications for Edgar County. Edgar County Sheriff can be heard using any scanner with DMR capabilities or upgrades.
