The Linn County Sheriff's Office and Jail are located on SE Jackson Street, making it common to see Linn County deputies in Southeast and Southwest Albany, where they occasionally assist Albany Police with major calls.

Callsign Information

Unlike some other departments, Albany Police do not appear to designate callsigns based on unit type. Instead, each officer is assigned a callsign that they continue to use throughout their career at APD, regardless of rank changes or new assignments.
