KYF467 License Expired 5/25 2/26 attempt to "renew" a license that has been expired for almost a year: Rejected by the FCC

Dear FCC, We would hereby like to request a waiver under FCC Rule 47 CFR 1.949 due to our expired
license and, therefore late renewal request. On or about 5/14/2025 we found our license was
terminated for failure of construction notification and we hired a Frequency Coordinator to clear up this
matter. And apparently it was reactivated but not renewed. By the time we were made aware it had
been expired after the coordinator corrected the cancellation we were in the midst of a change of an
employee that had the ULS Login information and it was during the government shutdown and we
attempted to regain access to the ULS to handle the renewal several times but could not regain access
to the ULS until after the Shutdown. We are sincerly sorry for this issue and request a waiver to allow
renewal of the above mentioned license.

The renewal application was filed on February 17, 2026 which is more than 30 days after the expiration date on call sign
KYF467. Pursuant to Public Notice DA 03-1974, any request for a waiver of rule 1.949 filed over 30 days past the
expiration date is subject to a strict review and will not be routinely granted. Your license expired on May 9, 2025 and it
is the responsibility of the licensee to timely file the renewal application. Your request to reinstate call sign KYF467
under a waiver of rule 1.949 is denied and the late filed renewal application is dismissed. If you have a need to operate
on the frequencies listed under the expired license, you may file for a special temporary authority (STA)
