UHF-T Band

Part of the UHF television broadcast spectrum from 470-512 MHz (TV channels 14-20) in the United States is referred to as the UHF-T Band when used for private land mobile radio in certain metropolitan areas. Each 6 MHz wide TV channel is dvided in two with the lower 3 MHz for base stations/repeater outputs paired with the upper 3 MHz for mobiles/repeater inputs.

UHF-T band private land mobile radio use is generally restricted to a 50 mile radius of the locations listed below.
