This system was formerly the Greene County public safety system, shared with and part owned by W/S Electronics. Frequencies licensed to Greene County and Xenia have been moved to the P25 site which is part of Ohio MARCS.
This EDACS system uses 4 sites that utilize a mix of analog and Provoice. Some sites may have been removed. The system has/had three sites in Green County. The Xenia Site provides for better coverage within the City of Xenia, while the Yellow Springs Site provides for better coverage in the northern part of the county.
Business Users
The Springfield Site in Clark County is a SCAT site to provide the business users on the system with coverage for that area.
The system is set up and maintained by WS Electronics LLC headquartered in Xenia.
