The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) is a multi-agency federal task force (commonly associated with the FBI although many other agencies participate). The DES frequencies above remain in use after the FBI's conversion to P25 in the Houston area. These frequencies may be used by OCDETF because they may be maintained for compatibility with other agencies on VHF-high that have not yet converted to P25 (e.g., CBP/ICE). Some of these frequencies are also reported as nationwide FBI frequencies.
