Clark County, Ohio
Clark County is located in west central Ohio and is a part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was formed on March 1, 1818, and is named after General George Rogers Clark who fought Indians in Ohio in the late 1700s. The county seat and largest city is Springfield. Clark County has two cities, ten townships and eight villages

Buck Creek State Park
Buck Creek State Park is a 1,896 acre state park located 4 miles northeast of downtown Springfield that features the 2,120 acre C.J. Brown Dam and Reservoir. The park is leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who maintain flood control operations of the dam and reservoir. The park itself is maintained by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). All official park communications are on the Ohio MARCS statewide system. Other VIP (Camp ground overseers) and campers can be heard using FRS radios throughout the summer camping season.
