Scanner frequency information for the LPGA

As a general rule: radios and cell phones are prohibited items during tournament days at the course. How this applies to scanners I'm not sure--but if you bring a scanner, you must be very discrete.

Likewise, at the 2007 State Farm Classic in Springfield, IL, there were many Motorola UHF radios (some GP300s) with 1/4 antennas in use and the personnel used earpieces.

For now, the frequencies found at the 2007 and 2009 State Farm Classic have been left under the State Farm Classic section of this Illinois sports page until it can be confirmed which of these frequencies are used nationwide and which are used exclusively at the Springfield tournament. A report from the 2009 Solheim Cup is forthcoming and should shed some light on which frequencies are actually used by the LPGA.
