The SERAM is the Système Évolue de Radiocommunication de l'Île de Montréal (Montreal Island Advanced Communications System).

It is used by Montreal Police Department (SPVM), Montreal Fire Department (SIM), public works and public security.


The system is split into 4 sites: sécurité publique (001), travaux publics (002), Aéroport Pierre-Elliott Trudeau (014) and Métro de Montréal (015).

Montreal Police and Montreal Fire operate exclusively on site 1 (except ADS & ADS Sup which are on site 1).

Site 2 communications are primarily public works and public security.
