APCO 25 Capable Handheld Scanner

NOTE: The BCi25 digital card will work in this scanner and decode digital audio, however it will reduce it to TrunkTracker III.

The BC296D Digital Handheld Scanner is APCO 25 Capable with 1000 channels, 10 banks, 10 priority channels and continuous band coverage.

NOTE: The BC296D will NOT accept P25 custom bandplan offset values. It will only use what it gets from the control channel, and this is not always sufficient for the scanner to trunktrack correctly, especially in the VHF and UHF bands.
