System Notes
- 2011.01.29 Davie Fire was subsumed into Broward County Sheriff Office Fire-Rescue division. They will now be dispatched on DISPATCH 2 (former North channel).
- 2011.01.26 Hollywood (Broward site 3) began rebanding. All 9 frequencies were shifted down 15MHz. Because they exist in the original Motorola channel plan your scanner should not need special programming, other than the new frequencies.
- 2011.08.01 Pompano Beach Fire moved from the Fort Lauderdale system (site 4) to the Broward County system (site 1) using Dispatch 5 (talkgroup 8240) as their main channel and the standard Broward tactical channels for fireground operations. Pompano will also dispatch Lighthouse Point, Lauderdale by the Sea, and Sea Ranch Lakes who also moved to Dispatch 5.
