Notes
- All departments are currently dispatched by the Licking County 911 center in Newark for runs in Licking County. Utica Fire and EMS are also dispatched by the Utica Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff's Office (which also dispatches Homer on Knox County runs).
- The Heath Fire Department generally uses 857.2125 (P25) only for communications with the Heath Police Department.
- 33.980 (Perry County Fire) and 33.860 are sometimes patched together for Glenford runs in Licking County.
- For dive/rescue team and haz-mat team runs, all departments with personnel or equipment for the relevant team are paged.
Fire department map
Glenford's station (Station 220) is located in Perry County.
Codes
Fire/EMS departments in Licking County have moved almost entirely to plain language, although some remnants of BSSA codes and signals remain, such as 33 (en route), 37 (on the scene), 13 (non-emergency response), 27 (emergency response), and 16 (death). Also, the Newark Fire Department occasionally still uses "10-22," their former code for the police department, and "10-33," which indicates an emergency response (with lights and sirens), primarily when transporting to the hospital.
