Scanner frequencies for the Lucas Oil Late Models national touring series:

Lucas Oil Late Models Series Official Website

Series frequencies:

Lucas Oil Late Models Series (confirmed while at LaSalle 5/19/07)

  • 465.7125 DCS306 Lucas Oil Late Model officials
  • 454.0000 (CSQ) Lucas Oil Late Models"Raceceiver" channel. Note that two posts on 4m.net in September 2007 said the Lucas Oil frequency was 454.450. An April 2008 post mentions the Lucas Oil Raceceiver frequency being 454.000 as was found in May 2007.

During the race, the flagman listens to 454.000 for when to thrown the caution.

The drivers are not allowed to use radios to communicate with their teams. Instead, all Lucas Oil Late Model drivers must monitor the "Raceceiver" channel to know when there is a caution, what order to line up in for restarts, or other race information.

Track Frequencies

As a part of the collaboration project, all track frequencies have been moved to the following;

2008 Lucas Oil Late Models Schedule

NOTE THAT FROM MY EXPERIENCE, DURING THE LUCAS OIL HOT-LAPS, QUALIFYING, HEATS, SEMIS AND FEATURES, THE BEST TWO CHANNELS TO MONITOR ARE 465.7125 AND 454.000. THE TRACK FREQS WON'T BE TOO ACTIVE WHEN THE LATE MODELS ARE ON THE TRACK, BUT ARE INCLUDED FOR YOUR REFERENCE NONETHELESS.

THE FLAGMAN SWITCHES RADIOS BETWEEN THE TRACK RADIO (FOR THE LOCAL CLASSES) AND THE RACECEIVER CHANNEL (FOR THE LUCAS OIL LATE MODELS) DEPENDING UPON WHO IS ON THE TRACK

Unconfirmed Track Frequencies for various dirt tracks

If you don't already know the track frequency, Using CloseCall/Signal Stalker or scanning the itinerant frequencies will generally yield the frequency. If not, search between 151-160 MHz and 451-470 MHz.

Some dirt track frequencies are listed at the following link:
