+ | *RCMP radio IDs start with 221#### and 231####, SaskPower radio IDs start with 222####, EMS radio ID's start with 225#### and Fire radio ID's start with 226####. This should help with identification of talkgroups for those using trunker type programs or devices which show radio IDs.
+ | |||
+ | *The RCMP talkgroups and sites are split into 5 different zones through out the province. Zone 1 covers Northern Saskatchewan, Zone 2 covers West-Central Saskatchewan, Zone 3 covers East-Central Saskatchewan, Zone 4 covers Southern Saskatchewan and Zone 5 covers any overflow or additional talkgroups.

Channel Plans
- These are the PPSTN's 20 trunked site channel plans in use province wide in 2016.
These same channel plans are reused over and over all across the province. Once you get the control channel for a given site you can then find that site's other frequencies by looking at these channel plans. You can see that most of the PPSTN's sites only have total of 4 channels each. A control channel and 3 voice channels. The citys of Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw and Prince Albert have 2 sites, one with 4 channels and one with with 6 channels.
- The RX channels on some of the sites have to be changed because 2 sites RX frequencies
maybe too close to each other for the mobile radios to work properly on the system.
