Gateway: Sandbox

  • Category:Sandbox makes no sense and should not be created.
  • The Sandbox page is of limited use, because it is easily overwritten "common ground".
  • UserPages should be used for article development because they "eliminate" such risk.

To Do

  1. Eliminate multiple stove-piped categories by using gateway categories at top
  2. Use better names for
    1. Category:Propagation_Links
    2. Category:Broadcasting
  3. Use natural names/descriptions instead of artificial ones
    1. Category:Collaboration - replace with Category:Geographic
    2. Category:Province Data - replace with Category:Canada
  4. Consider replacing Category:Alinco Radios with Category:Alinco Receivers
    1. Could also use Category:Alinco Transceivers if needed later
  5. Should/Can we rename "MOTOTRBO" categories to be "DMR" categories?
  6. Should/Can we rename "NXDN NEXEDGE" categories to be "NXDN" categories or to be "NXDN NEXEDGE ICAS" categories?
  7. Put "Theme Categories" under Gateway Special Topics.
