General Info

Iowa County law enforcement, fire, and EMS use WISCOM for all daily operations. You will need a P25 Trunking scanner in order to listen to their system. There is one County owned WISCOM site located at the Sheriff's Office in Dodgeville. The county also utilizes the Highland and Blue Mounds tower sites on a primary basis. There are two P25 conventional channels that are tied into the system in order to increase portable coverage along the Wisconsin River and in Mineral Point.

All Public safety agencies in Iowa county are dispatched by the sheriff's office in Dodgeville. Wisconsin State Patrol and DNR Wardens assigned to the county will talk with the county Dispatch on IOLAW1.
