Ontario Counties
From The RadioReference Wiki
Under Ontario law, counties and regions are considered upper-tier municipalities. Historically, Regions provided police services and Counties did not. That holds today, even though under provincial law, the names have no meaning. In northern Ontario, there are Districts that provide no municipal services and all municipalities organized within those districts are single-tier. Municipalities listed here are upper-tier except has noted.
