- Separate the Aviation-tree from the Business-tree.
- Eliminate Category:Airports, (and any state-related children) which will prevent it from being a child of Category:Businesses.
- Simply assign Category:Businesses (or its appropriate child(ren)) to individual Airport articles as appropriate.
Since some private airports are not businesses, Category:Airports does not always functionally fit under Category:Businesses, though it does for most airports.Statement moot after eliminating the category altogether.
- Separate Civil and Military aviation, satellites, etc.
- For dual-purpose articles (e.g. those common to all satellites), apply both civil and military categories.
- All aviation articles should have a state-aviation-category to help organize both the larger state-category tree and the aviation-category tree.
The Wiki-frequencies tree would extend only to Civil-aviation-frequencies category and Military-aviation-frequencies category, but not all the way down to state-aviation-frequencies-categories, because the State-frequencies branch of the Wiki-frequencies tree should suffice.So, a Virginia article containing civil-aviation frequencies would be categorized with Category:Virginia, Category:Virginia Frequencies, Category:Civil Aviation, Category:Civil Aviation Frequencies, but would not be categorized with Category:Virginia Civil Aviation Frequencies.

- This site should implement the live mil air submissions just like milaircomms did. That was a really good feature for the nature of relatively unknown and transient freqs, which is what mil air freqs are.
It worked like this: you filled out a short form - frequency you heard, city & state, date & time. That's it. Then anyone could query by any of those parameters to see what freqs are active in their region, and when.
