From The RadioReference Wiki
When adding a new article for this topic, please CATEGORIZE the new pages by applying categories on the last line of the article, as follows:
- STEP 1:
- Please apply [[Category:US and Canadian Common Frequencies]] (or one of its subcategories), for "articles that list frequencies which are used for the same purpose on both sides of the US/CA border".
- Please apply [[Category:US Common Frequencies]] for "articles that list frequencies which are used for the same purpose and are allocated to the same entity, in all US States".
- Please apply [[Category:Canada Common Frequencies]] for "articles that list frequencies which are used for the same purpose and are allocated to the same entity, in all Canada Provinces".
- Note: More than one of the three categories above can be used, if appropriate.
- STEP 2:
- Also, at the bottom of the new page, Please also add the "...Frequencies" categories that are specific for each of the state(s) and/or province(s).
- For example, If the new article lists a business-frequency which is used in both Washington State, and in British Columbia, then the categories [[Category:Washington Business Frequencies]] and [[Category:British Columbia Business Frequencies]] should be applied in addition to the [[Category:US and Canadian Common Business Frequencies]] category that was applied in step 1 above.
- Also, at the bottom of the new page, Please also add the "...Frequencies" categories that are specific for each of the state(s) and/or province(s).
Thank you.
