Quick Tasks

Consider

  • Make templates based upon tracker-type and hide unused ones. This creates inherited simplicity, then possibly subordinate in each type, the designations considered below.
  • After new templates have been fully implemented, then:
    • Edit Template:DBSiteMap_FCC and Template:DBSiteMap_RR to be URL only templates, without boilerplate text; can create "Text_..." templates if boilerplate text is needed,
    • Edit new "Infobox_TRS" template to use Template:DBSiteMap_FCC and Template:DBSiteMap_RR.
  • Create/Update "/doc" pages for new "InfoBox..." templates
  • Deprecate/Delete old templates that are no longer used, and their "/doc" pages.


  • Consider embedding "deprecated" into main InfoBox, and then Hide it as appropriate. -- no, because it the parameter "HideDep" would need to be replicated at every level, which is more complex than just creating it as needed.

  • Consider templates for Deprecated -- use parameter TRSClass and handle each individually. If enough exist, then make "...Dep" version of the template which has the TRSClass set to Deprecated.
  • Consider FIXED FONT for Callsigns -- more difficult to read
  • Consider Tracker related Templates
    • Really what this would be is "by SysType" which would involve too many combinations
    • So, just use Trackers as used in Test template.


  • Consider that some TRS's might be limited to an independent city which is not part of a county. So, show city, hide county; or show city, show county list multiple counties.


  • MultiState and MultiCounty should allow for multiple counties to be linked and listed in the "county" field but be defaulted as "Multiple"
  • MultiState should allow for multiple states to be linked and listed in the "state" field but defaulted as "Multiple"


  • Consider EXISTING State Specific TRS's -- possibly rename them using convention listed below?
